A short update on my lawsuit against LINE. There was a hearing on October 19, 2026.

The bigger news is about settlement. LINE explained that they could consider a settlement. They will send a concrete proposal by October 30, and we’ll weigh it against the conditions I wrote about after the sixth hearing. If it looks like we can settle, we’ll put our rebuttal on hold and focus on that. If we can’t agree on the terms, we’ll file the rebuttal.

Regarding the rebuttal, the court said that once we respond to LINE’s fourth brief, both sides should be done with their arguments and evidence. There will be no witness examination.

The next hearing is on November 13, 2026.
